Help Us Share Pell City’s Story
Our volunteers are at the heart of the Museum of Pell City. Whether you’re welcoming visitors, helping behind the scenes, or lending a hand at a special event, there are many ways to get involved.
A Small Commitment. A Big Difference.
Our regular docents typically volunteer for one three-hour shift each month, greeting visitors, sharing the museum, and helping make every visit welcoming.
Not ready for a regular shift? That’s okay, too. We also welcome volunteers who would like to help with special events, projects, exhibits, and other opportunities throughout the year.

Greet visitors and help give museum tours.
Group Tours
Help welcome and guide school, community and other organized groups.
Cataloging
Help us document and care for items in the museum’s collection.
Exhibits
Assist with building, installing and preparing exhibits.
Special Events & Receptions
Help with exhibit openings, programs, receptions and other museum events.
Social Media
Help us share museum stories, exhibits and activities with our community.
Video & Videography
Assist with filming, video projects and editing.
